EmaBee Inspiration: Peace Cards

EmaBee Inspiration: Peace Cards

I found these cards at Bus Boys and Poets on 5th and K St. in Washington, DC.

I was at Bus Boys and Poets for a Guatemala Human Rights Commission event featuring human rights defender Lolita Chavez who told her story of peacefully resisting the Canadian mining company trying to open a mine near her town in rural Guatemala.

It was a really inspiring talk, and then I saw these cards in the bookshop after the show. I thought about it some and am going to try to make peace cards to add to EmaBee’s Guatemala collection.
