Holiday Cards, Ornaments, and Gifts (sneak preview)

REMINDER: EmaBee will be at St. Margaret’s Holiday Bazaar on November 23rd, 2013 from 9:30am to 2:00pm. Be sure to stop by EmaBee’s table for all of your holiday needs! Unique gifts, holiday cards, ornaments!

I know it is early for some, but holiday season really is upon us, especially those of us that make crafts as holiday gifts for our loved ones, and/or make them to sell to others to give as gifts.

I am currently filling custom orders for Christmas cards, making  fish ornaments, painting notebooks, canvases, and water colors of early 1900’s illustrations of children’s books. Some of these are for St. Margaret’s Holiday Bazaar next weekend (you should totally come to meet me, check out my stuff, and see how I create my work – I will be doing demonstrations). see below for a sneak peek of EmaBee’s creations that will be available at the craft fair

As mentioned previously, I will also be selling Beefy Boy’s Finishing Salts (my father’s flavor creations). “Woah! Wait a minute!” you say, “What are finishing salts?” you ask.  There are salts infused with different flavors, i.e. clove, chocolate, wasabi, chili pepper, brandy, honey, and a variety of other spices and herbs. You put them on your food when you are FINISHED cooking – hence “finishing salts.” My favorite way to use them are on popcorn, and freshly, lightly steamed vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, spinach, kale, green beans, lima beans, you name it. Especially lavender finishing salt on fresh tomatoes out of the garden with olive oil, fresh ground pepper, and fresh torn basil.

Another popular way to use it is on the rim of specialty drinks, such as chili pepper on bloody mary’s, chocolate on raspberry martinis, or brandy/vanilla on classic margaritas.
