She stands in the middle of a rolling hilled meadow, the expanse dotted with trees to the horizon. The clouds rushing by, the wind whipping her long hair, arms raised to the heavens, eyes closed and face upon the intermittent sunlight. She dances alone—only with the wind and the shadows of the clouds—spinning in circles, and galloping though the tall grass. She runs toward the horizon, heart thumping in her chest – a steady drum to the beat of her feet on the crackling tall grass stems. The wind pushing at her back, urging her onward.
