Adventures: Bangkok Temple Art

On Saturday, we went on a group excursion to several of the sites of Bangkok – the Royal Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha; the Temple of the Reclining Buddha; and the Temple of the Dawn. I found the detail amazing, and style so foreign to what I am used to in western culture and art. The ornate, encrusted tall, tiered towers, and the fantastic colors and textures. I would just stop and stare at things taking it all in.

Naturally, there was so much beautiful, ornate, colorful art – it was difficult to choose only a few highlights.
