Arrancaron nuestros frutos,
Cortaron nuestras ramas,
Quemaron nuestro tronco,
Pero no pudieron
Matar nuestras raíces.

They snatched our fruit
They cut off our branches
They scorched our trunk
But they were not able to
Destroy our roots.
